王洪波教授，博士生导师,湖北省高层次人才,湖北省**中青年科技创新团队负责人，曾受聘为加拿大西安大略大学大学兼职教授/博士生导师、英国利物浦大学和武汉科技大学兼职博士生导师。面向医用光子材料与器件的科技前沿和产业发展需求，依托国家可持续化学工程与技术学科创新引智基地和柔性光电材料与技术教育部重点实验室，王洪波教授团队致力于学科交叉优势作用下的应用基础研究、国际化人才培养以及科技成果转化，积累了较丰富的国际合作经验，建立了较强的国际协同创新团队，搭建了高水平的国际合作平台。

Hong-Bo Wang finished his undergraduate studies in applied chemistry at Huazhong Agricultural University and received a M.Sc. in organic chemistry from Central China Normal University. Then, he went to Canada for his Ph.D. studies at the University of Western Ontario. After a postdoctoral training in porous polymer materials and green chemistry at Queen’s University, he started his independent research at Central South University in 2013 and relocated to Jianghan University as a full professor of applied chemistry in 2015. From 2017 to 2022, he was appointed as an adjunct professor at the University of Western Ontario. Since 2025, he takes responsibility to run the National Center for International Cooperation and Discipline Innovation in Sustainable Chemical Engineering and Technology at Jianghan University. His research focuses on healthcare photonic materials and devices.
